Lower Ribeaupierre Castle Garden
This ornamental garden, designed between 1619 and 1639 by Eberhard de Ribeaupierre, stretches along the slopes northwest of the town, at the foot of the lower castle's defensive wall.
Once famous for its now-lost orange tree greenhouses, it still retains its Italian-style terraces connected by finely cut stone staircases.
These terraces are adorned with basins, statues, and remarkable trees.
Currently owned by the hospital, it is maintained by its gardener.
