Ludwig Pottery
This workshop is one of the oldest in the village and preserves an authentic pottery tradition. Michel, the potter, still uses the techniques passed down by his father and grandfather, without any changes. The shaping of pieces is done entirely traditionally: plaster molds are placed on a lathe with an eccentric axis to form oval or round shapes. He is the last craftsman to use this unique method, which gives his creations an incomparable artisanal and historical character.
The shop is open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. without interruption. On Sundays and public holidays, hours are reduced from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. To discover the secrets of production, self-guided tours of the workshop are offered Monday to Friday. Guided tours, by reservation, are also organized daily in French, German, and English for groups of 10 to 50 people at a rate of €2 per person. School groups are not accepted.
