Maison du Dorfhüs
In the heart of the Sundgau hills, the steeple of Kœtzingue rises with an unusual silhouette, overlooking a cluster of old houses that surround it like a protective case.
Among them, the Maison du Dorfhüs catches the eye. This former tithe house, with thick walls dating back to the 16th century, embodies the village's rich past where agriculture and history intertwine harmoniously.
A little further on, a winding path crosses an orchard leading to the Tieffend, a green haven nestled in the center of the village.
To complete the exploration, the surrounding hills or the Homberg vineyard offer breathtaking viewpoints. From these heights, the view embraces the Vosges, the Black Forest, and the Jura.
On clear days, the luckiest can even make out the iconic silhouette of the Swiss Alps: the Eiger, the Jungfrau, and the Mönch.
