Marcel Rudloff Hiking Center (CCA)

This site is undoubtedly one of the best starting points to combine a change of scenery, sports activities, culture, and the discovery of Alsace. Thanks to its central location, it allows easy exploration throughout the region. Strasbourg, the Humanist Library of Sélestat, as well as the cities of Mulhouse, Colmar, and Saverne, rich in heritage and European history, are accessible in record time. The proximity of the Alsace plain and foothills also offers the opportunity to travel along the famous Wine Route, dotted with picturesque villages featuring half-timbered houses, vineyards, orchards, and storks. The winstubs, these typical inns, complete this authentic picture.

Yet, despite this closeness to cities, Alsace retains its rural charm: a natural or sporting getaway is always possible, and Châtenois, where this site is located, perfectly embodies this duality between urban and countryside.
