Marcel Windholtz Distillery

This artisanal and family-run distillery is located on the Alsace Wine Route. It is open to the public from Monday to Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and also offers visits by appointment outside these hours. Visitors can discover traditional craftsmanship and taste a varied selection of products. The eaux-de-vie offered include Mirabelle plum, quetsche plum, Williams pear, Kirsch, raspberry, sloe, and strawberry. The marc spirits, made from Alsatian grape varieties, include Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Muscat, Gewurztraminer, and late-harvest Gewurztraminer. Finally, the available liqueurs range from Mirabelle to blackberry cream, as well as pear, raspberry, sloe, Morello cherry, and blueberry.
