Margaux's Snails
Founded in September 2014, this Alsatian snail farm houses around 200,000 snails of the species Helix Aspersa Maxima, better known as Gros Gris.
These gastropods are born and raised in outdoor parks, carefully arranged with a manually maintained plant cover. This vegetation provides them both shelter and a natural food source, supplemented by cereals and minerals guaranteed to be GMO-free.
The estate is located in southern Alsace, in Largitzen, a village surrounded by forests and meadows where cattle graze. The farm is about thirty kilometers from Saint-Louis, Mulhouse, Montbéliard, and Belfort.
