Maria Chapel on the Rain
The history of this site dates back to the 18th century, when the locals decided to build a small sanctuary so that the Virgin Mary would protect the area from violent storms. Several centuries later, in 1935, the sanctuary was rebuilt while maintaining its spiritual and symbolic role. Today, visitors can still take part in this tradition by pulling the ropes at the entrance to ring the two bells, marking their passage and continuing a meaningful gesture.
