Marketa MACUDOVA - Gingerbread Creator

Gingerbread has an ancient history that traces back to China.

Its rich and complex recipe makes it a prized delicacy, often associated with Christmas celebrations. This cake, whose spicy aromas enchant the senses, lends itself to artistic creations blending flavor and aesthetics.

In my native Moravia, I inherited from my grandmother an exceptional skill: drawing and coloring intricate and varied patterns using powdered sugar.

This tradition, shared by the Czech Republic and Alsace, my adopted home, brings to life characters, costumes, and objects inspired by tales and legends.

These creations, born in my workshops, have found their place in many homes, bringing dreams and joy during the holidays.

Yet some customers hesitated to eat them, so delicate and expressive were the details.

To solve this dilemma, I devised a simple solution: buying these works in duplicate, to admire and enjoy without hesitation.
