Maxime Brand Wines Estate
Nestled in Ergersheim, a charming wine village about twenty kilometers west of Strasbourg, this family estate has been carrying on a winemaking tradition rooted in the Alsace terroir for several generations.
Over more than 10 hectares, it carefully cultivates seven typical regional grape varieties, while producing crémants and blends from various terroirs. Since 2019, the vineyard has been certified High Environmental Value, reflecting an environmentally respectful approach that promotes biodiversity in the vines. This philosophy guides every step of production, aiming to create wines of remarkable quality.
During your visit, you will be warmly welcomed in a tasting cellar where tradition and artisanal know-how blend. You can admire the typically Alsatian farmhouse as well as a vaulted cellar dating back to the tithe era. To deepen your discovery, a behind-the-scenes tour of production is offered: you will explore the pressing area, the vat room, bottling, labeling, and wine storage.
Wine and crémant tastings are free for individuals. For children, 100% pure grape juice is available year-round. Groups of up to 50 people are invited to book their visit in advance, with tastings then being paid.
