Media Library

The Mutzig Media Library, located in the Château des Rohan, houses over 40,000 diverse items including books, CD-ROMs, and DVDs. It welcomes 2,800 readers annually, with 1,600 coming from outside the municipality, according to 2007 figures. It is open 18 hours per week, from Tuesday to Saturday, except Friday. The ground floor is reserved for adults, while the first floor is dedicated to children and teenagers. The media library also offers activities for local schools. Opening hours are Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hours may change in summer. Access is free during opening hours, and on-site consultation of materials is free. However, borrowing items (books, audiobooks/CDs, magazines, or CD-ROMs) requires a paid subscription, with two plans available.
