Media Library - Espace Liberté

The Espace Liberté Media Library is a welcoming place dedicated to discovery, exchange, and culture. It provides the public with nearly 20,000 diverse documents: novels, magazines, audiobooks, documentaries, comics, picture books, as well as multimedia materials like DVDs and video games. On-site consultation is free for everyone, while borrowing requires an annual subscription. In addition to its collections, the media library regularly hosts exhibitions, performances, and creative workshops as part of the city's cultural programming.

The Micro-Folie digital cultural space makes thousands of major works from national museums such as the Louvre accessible. It offers an interactive experience through animations, games, workshops, and meetings on various themes: fine arts, architecture, dance, opera, and circus. Activities include sessions like "How to read a work?" or "One work in 30 minutes," as well as practical workshops such as "Create your coat of arms" or "The royal herbarium." Some workshops are led by external facilitators. Using virtual reality headsets, visitors can travel to Ancient Greece or Egypt, or discover masterpieces like the animated Mona Lisa with ARTE content. Finally, the Micro-Folie includes a Fab lab equipped with modern digital tools: 3D printer, cutting plotter, thermoforming machine, heat press, and coding or robotics kits.
