Medieval Garden of Thannenkirch
This small garden, located at the eastern entrance of the village of Thannenkirch, near the first small fountain, invites you to discover the climbing plants typical of the surrounding forest. These plants were once used as a food resource by the charcoal burner, the village's first inhabitant. Unlike a settled life, he did not cultivate a vegetable garden but drew his livelihood from the forest environment.
