Memorial Monument of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Battalions of the Royal Prussian Infantry Regiment of Posen No. 59

Erected in the 19th century, this pink sandstone obelisk stands within a peaceful enclosure. Its simple and symbolic decoration includes vegetal wreaths and an iron cross, commemorating the sacrifice of the soldiers. On painted metal plaques, the names of the victims from each battalion are engraved, preserving the memory of those who died in the battle of August 6, 1870.
