Mini Planetarium

The Gresswiller Planetarium is located in the multipurpose room of the school, near the church.

This 9-meter diameter mechanical device reproduces the solar system and allows observation of the actual movements of the planets around the Sun, as well as the Moon's orbit around the Earth.

It also represents the alternation of day and night and the seasons, all without electronics, thanks to a fully mechanical design created by Michel Rohr, a native of the village.

This enthusiast, a true master of mechanics, also completed another project: the construction of an astronomical clock installed in the town hall square.
