Mittelharth Youth Hostel

Located just one kilometer from Colmar's historic city center and close to many sites to visit, this youth hostel combines comfort and accessibility. A 15-minute walk from the heart of the city and a few steps from the train station, it is an ideal starting point to explore Colmar and its surroundings. Open from mid-January to the end of December, the hostel offers accommodation in shared rooms with 2 to 5 beds or private rooms, depending on availability and travelers' needs. Each bed comes with a sheet, but breakfast is not included in the base rate. Prices vary by type of stay: €30 per person in a shared room, €22 for children under 3 and students, or €45 for private rooms under certain conditions. Preferential rates are offered for groups of at least 10 people, with discounts for school, student, or sports groups upon presentation of proof. The hostel provides free parking for vehicles and bicycles, as well as a wooded park to relax in the evening. A bus stop in front of the establishment facilitates city travel. Reception hours are strict: check-in between 3 pm and 11 pm, and the hostel is closed to the public from 11 am to 3 pm (12 pm if booked for the night). In case of delay, it is imperative to notify the night watchman before 10 pm. Wi-Fi is free, but additional services such as breakfast (€7), bedding rental (€8), or towel rental (€3) are offered. A tourist tax of €0.85 per night also applies.
