Monument of the Alsace Mobile Group

During World War II, the Alsatian Resistance was organized and developed both within Alsace and beyond its borders. Outside the region, efforts were made to gather Alsatians scattered in the Southwest of France or taking refuge in Switzerland. This organization aimed to strengthen the fight against the occupation and maintain a connection between Alsatian communities despite forced separation.
