Monument of the Blue Devils

Created by Parisian sculptors Vermare and Moreau-Vauthier, this monument honors the French chasseurs who fell in battle during the First World War (1914-1918). Located on the Route des Crêtes, specifically on the D 431, it is accessible after about a twenty-minute walk from the summit of the Grand Ballon, the highest point of the Vosges massif.
