Mountain Guide Nicolas Thevenin

Nicolas Thévenin has been a mountain guide since 2003. Based in Alsace for over a decade, he works at the Maison de la Terre in Sentheim, where he applies his expertise to exploring landscapes and geological formations. Passionate about stones, landforms, and the geomorphology of the Vosges massif, he leads groups in the Doller and Thur valleys, as well as in the Alsatian wine-growing foothills.

With enthusiasm, Nicolas shares his passion for field geology with diverse audiences: elementary school children, high school science students, and the general public curious about minerals and rocks. His outings allow exploration of the Earth, its environment, internal energy, and resources, while addressing major environmental challenges shaping our future.
