Mr Safran

Nestled about twenty kilometers from Strasbourg, on the Alsace wine route, the town of Molsheim is home to a handcrafted saffron farm in the heart of the city, not far from the ramparts.

Every year in October, saffron flowers are carefully handpicked here. Each stigma is then individually trimmed to extract the precious spice.

The saffron farm offers a wide range of 100% artisanal products made from saffron: saffron pepper chutney, walnut oil with saffron, saffron syrup, and acacia honey with saffron. These creations highlight local expertise and the authenticity of Alsatian flavors.
