Munster
Founded around a Benedictine abbey from the 7th century, Munster today has 5,125 inhabitants. Despite the destruction caused by the Thirty Years' War, the town experienced significant growth in the 18th century. Damaged during both world wars, it has recovered thanks to its industrial dynamism and tourist appeal, while preserving traces of its rich historical past.
