Muntzenheim
Muntzenheim first appears in archives in 675. In the 10th century, the village came under the authority of the lords of Horbourg. In 1323, the Abbey of Erstein established a manorial court there, marking its lasting influence on the locality. For centuries, Muntzenheim maintained a primarily agricultural vocation. Only recently has the village begun to shift towards industrial activities, diversifying its economy while preserving its historical heritage.
