Museum of Municipal Factories

Located on the site of the former water pumping station for the Colmar living basin, this museum is housed in a building constructed in 1884.

It preserves the industrial heritage related to the activities of the Municipal Factories, which covered the production of water, gas, electricity, as well as public transportation.

The exhibition traces the main thread of this great industrial adventure: the gradual improvement of the living comfort of Colmar's inhabitants throughout the 19th and 20th centuries.

Visits are possible year-round by reservation.
