National Necropolis at Donon (1914-1918)

Perched on the heights of Donon, the national necropolis pays tribute to the fighters of the First World War. It houses two separate ossuaries: the first commemorates the battalions of foot hunters with 110 soldiers, while the second is dedicated to the infantry regiment and engineers, totaling 71 soldiers. Additionally, 108 individual graves are scattered across the site, providing a space for reflection and remembrance.

Created between May and June 1920, this necropolis is also marked by monuments erected by the French Remembrance organization, highlighting its role in preserving the history and memory of the conflict's victims.
