Nature House of the Sauer Delta

Just steps from your home, the Nature House invites you to explore the Rhine natural environments through a permanent exhibition accessible for self-guided visits. You will discover the geological history of the Rhine Graben, the functioning of alluvial zones, the evolution of the Rhine and the modifications it has undergone, as well as the threats facing these ecosystems. The exhibition also highlights efforts to preserve the rich and lush local biodiversity.

Accompanied by professional nature educators and volunteer naturalist guides, the site is certified as a Center for Nature and Environmental Initiation (CINE). In addition to programs dedicated to schools, it offers activities for the general public to raise awareness of the landscapes, wildlife, and flora of its territory, which extends from the Northern Vosges to the Rhine, including the Bienwald and the gates of Strasbourg.

Beyond regular activities, the CINE can organize tailored events based on your requests or specific interests.
