Neppert Square

This square, established in 1985, is located in a neighborhood that began developing in the second half of the 19th century and reached its peak between 1870 and 1918 with the large-scale construction of buildings for workers. Situated on former industrial and residential wastelands, it is one of the two public gardens in the area. Fully enclosed, the garden is centered around a large central lawn and offers a pedestrian passage connecting rue des Pyrénées to rue Neppert. Among its notable vegetation are magnificent tulip trees, catalpas, imposing sequoias, and Judas trees, which add greenery and botanical diversity to this relaxing spot.
