Neuneich Picnic Area

Perched at 730 meters above sea level at the Neuneich Pass, overlooking Ligsdorf, this area developed by the National Forestry Office (ONF) invites relaxation and outdoor meals. The site features a small shelter with a table seating six to eight people, while two outdoor barbecue spots complete the facilities. Seven other picnic tables are also available for enjoying the surroundings freely.

Visitors need to bring their own grill for the barbecues.

From this spot, a stunning panorama opens up over the Alsatian Jura, offering clear views of the surrounding landscapes.

Additionally, this area serves as a prime starting point for walks and hikes in the Glaserberg forest, where family-friendly trails allow easy exploration of nature.
