Northern Vosges Archaeology Museum

This museum provides a comprehensive overview of archaeological research conducted in northern Alsace, covering a period from Prehistory to the industrial era.

Originally renowned for its rich Gallo-Roman collections from the local spa town, it has become a key site for medieval archaeology. This shift is largely due to the dedication of volunteers who, for over ten years, have been working on the restoration of Schoeneck Castle, one of the many castles in the Northern Vosges.

Additionally, the museum houses an impressive collection of stoves, reflecting the industrial legacy of the Dietrich family, renowned ironmasters of the region.
