Notre-Dame d'Oelenberg Abbey

Perched for nine centuries in the heart of the Alsatian countryside, the Notre-Dame d'Oelenberg Abbey embodies a place of calm and reflection among the last French monasteries still active.

Its simple architecture and preserved surroundings invite contemplation, while walks around the site allow visitors to admire its harmonious lines and green setting.

Inside, the abbey's shop offers a selection of artisanal and food products made by monks and nuns from France, the Czech Republic, Belgium, and India, as well as creations from local artisans. To deepen the experience, guided tours are organized by the Tourist Office, available only in French.
