Nusbaumer Artisanal Distillery

Founded in 1947, the Nusbaumer artisanal distillery is an independent company located in Steige, in the heart of the Vallée de Villé, a historic distillation region in Alsace. Specializing in the production of fruit and plant eaux-de-vie and liqueurs, it has recently expanded its expertise to include gin and whisky. About fifty products are available for tasting and purchase in its on-site shop.

Awarded the Living Heritage Company label, the distillery carries on a recognized artisanal tradition for nearly 80 years. Guided tours are organized by reservation, offering a behind-the-scenes look at production: welcome and company presentation, still room, storage tanks, and bottling workshop.

Each tour, lasting about an hour, ends with a tasting of the products. The full experience, including the tour and tasting, lasts about an hour and a half. Prices are €9 per adult over 18, with free admission for those under 18.
