Obermodern

Obermodern-Zutzendorf is a French commune located in the Bas-Rhin department, in the Grand Est region.

It is part of the historical and cultural region of Alsace.

Its current name results from an administrative evolution: originally called Obermodern, the commune was named Modern from January 1, 1974, to April 17, 1983, following its merger with the neighboring village of Zutzendorf. Since that date, it has been known by its current name, Obermodern-Zutzendorf.
