Oedenbourg Castle

Perched just a few hundred meters from the famous Haut-Koenigsbourg, this medieval ruined castle draws attention with its imposing remains.

Although access is prohibited for safety reasons (presence of fences), it is possible to admire from the outside its shield wall as well as the still-standing façades of its dwelling. These elements offer a fine glimpse of the typical castle architecture of the time, reflecting the region's warrior and feudal past.
