Offwiller House
Housed in an authentic farmhouse, this museum offers a journey back in time to discover the habitat and lifestyle of the worker-peasants who lived in the Vosges foothills in the 19th century.
Through recreated spaces, it highlights their daily life filled with labor, traditions, and festive moments.
Among these customs, the "Schieweschlawe" stands out: this celebration, held during the equinox, involves throwing flaming discs into the night, thus perpetuating an ancient ritual.
