Old Houses

To reach Magstatt-le-Bas, take a picturesque road lined with lime trees, offering a pleasant escape back in time.

This small Alsatian village, nestled in the heart of generous nature, charms with its lush orchards and the soothing murmur of two streams that cross it, creating a calm and bucolic atmosphere.

At the center of the village stands the Saint Michael Church, built in 1629. Its choir, remarkably decorated, immediately catches visitors' eyes.

Strolling through the adjacent streets, you discover charming half-timbered houses, the oldest dating back to 1599, bearing witness to the local history.

Continuing the walk to Koetzingue Street, other heritage gems reveal themselves, such as the Hug House, built in 1607 and once used as a courthouse.
