Old Spinning Mill

In the 19th century, Lutzelhouse housed a significant industrial complex consisting of a cotton and combed wool spinning mill, a mill, and a mechanical sawmill.

Near these facilities, the Scheidecker family built a castle with a majestic staircase, accompanied by a hunting lodge and stables.

Today, this architectural and industrial ensemble, preserved in the Bruche valley, is among the most remarkable in the region. However, access to the site is not open to the public.
