Old Stove of the Tailors' Guild
Dating back to 1564, this building in Mulhouse underwent significant transformations in the 19th and 20th centuries. It now bears witness to the past influence of the tailors' guild, the most powerful in the city before the 1798 annexation. The tailor's scissors, symbols of this trade, decorate its murals, thus recalling its central role in Mulhouse's economic and social history.
