Old Synagogue
Nearby, the synagogue built in 1906 according to the designs of architects David Falk and Émile Wolf illustrates the importance of the Jewish community in the region until the mid-20th century. Recently restored on the exterior, the building is distinguished by its central plan and side entrance door. On the street-facing facade, a large thermal window frames the tablets of the law, the central symbol of the building. Guided tours are organized by appointment during the summer season, notably on Friday afternoons from July to August, as well as two Wednesdays per month in July and August.
