Old Synagogue of Reichshoffen
Built in 1852, this synagogue replaced an old 18th-century Judeo-Alsatian study and prayer house formerly located at 4 rue des Juifs. Too small for the community's needs, it was replaced by this new building. Since 1967, it has no longer been used as a place of worship. Its architecture, exceptional and unique in Alsace, is distinguished by its discreet integration into a garden, hidden from view, in the heart of an old street in old Reichshoffen. It is thus one of the so-called "hidden" synagogues, typical of the Ancien Régime.
