Old Town Hall

This historic building consists of two wings distinct in their era and style. The right wing, dating back to the 15th century, was remodeled in 1721, while the left wing, built in 1581 by Franz Baur, the municipal master builder, features older architecture.

Inside, the first floor houses a large room adorned with beautiful columns supporting the window arcades. In the 19th century, the building successively hosted the communal college and then the agricultural school, from which the current agricultural high school originates. Today, after its restoration, it mainly serves sociocultural activities.

At the rear of the building, a difference in styles between the two parts is visible. The section attached to the tower is the oldest, characterized by its stepped gable. The other, newer section features two gunports located at the top of its gable.
