Old Washhouse

Founded in 1999, the association Les Amis du Gutebrunne et du Patrimoine de Siltzheim is dedicated to preserving and enhancing the local heritage. Among its achievements, it has rebuilt the old washhouse and landscaped the surroundings to create a peaceful and pleasant place. About ten volunteers regularly maintain the site, which becomes an ideal setting for walks and meetings for the village residents.

Every year in June, the association organizes a festival there to celebrate this place full of history and conviviality. To get there, go to rue de l’Église, turn right after the town hall (towards the cemetery), follow the cemetery, then descend to the washhouse via the small path leading there.
