Ouroboros
The artist Kristian Ingold designed *Ouroboros* with its location in mind, aiming for a sculpture that is both dynamic and discreet. His goal was to create a work that reveals itself gradually, without imposing as a focal point. He preserved the open perspective of the tree-lined alley, integrating the piece into the landscape rather than highlighting it.
The shape of *Ouroboros* allows for multiple uses: bench, table, meeting place, space for exchange, play, or mediation. Made of metal for the upper part and stone for the four bases, it evokes feet while providing a solid and durable structure.
The sculpture represents the mathematical symbol of infinity, also called a lemniscate, forming a continuous line. This choice reflects the idea of an endless cycle, embodied by the term *Ouroboros*, which also suggests the life of the artwork over the years, enriched by the interactions of passersby who observe, use, and continually renew it.
