Parc de la Marseillaise
Between 1897 and 1899, the industrial patron Aimé Gros-Schlumberger commissioned the Parisian landscape architect Edouard André to create a public park designed as a space for both relaxation and botanical learning.
The project resulted in a place where varied floral arrangements and exotic species blend harmoniously, offering a walk that is both aesthetic and educational.
The park still preserves several remarkable features: a Renaissance well, a large fountain, a bandstand, and an exedra bench modeled after the one where actress Sarah Bernhardt sat in the play *Théodora*.
