Patrick Singer's Alsatian Popular Art House
Dive into a private collection as surprising as it is endearing, housed in a large farmhouse in Boofzheim, in the heart of the Alsace Ried.
This journey is that of a passionate collector who, for over forty years, has scoured flea markets, second-hand shops, and antique stores to find rare pieces.
His barns and outbuildings are filled with more than 17,000 objects and pieces of furniture, precious testimonies of a vanished rural, artisanal, and religious Alsatian heritage. Each item, from the humblest daily utensil to forgotten tools, evokes a bygone era and revives childhood memories.
The visit takes you through recreated worlds: a butcher shop, a bakery, a dairy, agricultural machines, old toys, period furniture, and tableware, all immersed in a nostalgic atmosphere where everyday objects and forgotten techniques mingle.
An immersive dive into the Alsace of yesteryear, not to be missed by reservation for groups of up to 30 people.
