Paul Spannagel Estate and Sons

Dive into the history of the Paul Spannagel Estate, a family vineyard dedicated to winemaking since 1698, located in Katzenthal, in the heart of the Alsace Wine Route. This 7.5-hectare estate carries an unbroken winemaking tradition dating back to 1598. At the entrance to the cellar, a family tree proudly traces this lineage of winemakers and coopers, where each generation has passed down their passion for wine. Today, Yves Spannagel, an independent winemaker, continues this heritage alongside his wife Claudine and their children Marie and Jérôme, with the same dedication and passion as their ancestors.

The estate opens its doors for personalized tastings led by a family member. Here, you will discover exceptional wines from a unique terroir, blending authenticity, tradition, and excellence. Between renowned Grand Crus and a warm atmosphere, the experience immerses you in the world of Alsatian wine at the foot of the majestic medieval Wineck Castle.

A sensory and historical immersion where every detail tells a story.
