Peterschmitt Mill

Since 1782, the PETERSCHMIT mill has embodied an uninterrupted milling tradition, passed down through seven generations.

Located 10 km south of Colmar, on the D1Bis road connecting the A35 to the RN83, it lies halfway between Niederhergheim and Herrlisheim.

The company prioritizes an environmental approach by sourcing from local cereal growers: 60% of the wheat comes from within 50 km, and 90% from within 150 km. This proximity reduces the carbon footprint and supports a circular economy. On site, the retail shop offers a wide range of flours made from soft wheat and rye, as well as organic flours and ready-to-use mixes for specialty breads and pastries (whole wheat, country bread, spelt, corn, 6 cereals 4 seeds, almond flakes, chia seeds, etc.).
