Picnic Area - Baërenstall - Le Linge

This picnic area is located along a hiking trail lasting two and a half to three hours, designed to explore one of the front lines of the First World War. The route allows visitors to discover the remnants and landscapes shaped by the battles of this historic period.

Nearby is the Linge Memorial Museum, which offers three marked trails for a self-guided tour of the battlefield. One of these routes follows a chronological progression, tracing events from the start of the war in Alsace in August 1914 to the Armistice in November 1918. Visitors can thus gain a better understanding of the operations and the impact of this conflict on the region.

To preserve this natural and historical site, please be eco-responsible: respect the wildlife and plants, and take your waste with you.
