Picnic Area - Chapelle Flieger

Two hiking trails lead to this pleasant picnic area set in nature.

The first, more challenging, is a five-hour hike starting from Kaysersberg to the Trois Epis health resort, dominated by the statue of the Galtz. The route passes through Ammerschwihr, a village known for its Kaefferkopf, a local Grand Cru. A refreshing break is possible before the ascent.

The second, easier route is a family-friendly two-and-a-half-hour walk starting from the medieval town of Kaysersberg towards Ammerschwihr, nicknamed the town of the three blackbirds. This well-shaded picnic area, located deep in the forest, offers an ideal setting to enjoy a snack.
