Picnic Area - Schweitzer
A picnic table is installed in the playground, right next to Albert Schweitzer Square.
This square honors the memory of Albert Schweitzer, an iconic figure born in Kaysersberg in 1875.
A doctor, pastor, and Protestant theologian, he was also a philosopher and musician.
His humanitarian commitment earned him the Nobel Peace Prize in 1952.
To explore the medieval town, playful and cultural walking ideas are offered, with documents available for download.
Visitors are reminded to adopt eco-friendly behavior: respect nature and take your trash with you.
