Pierre and Frédéric Becht Wines Estate
The Pierre and Frédéric Becht estate is located in the heart of the picturesque village of Dorlisheim, situated on the famous Alsace Wine Route.
This family-run vineyard, passed down through generations, covers 20 hectares of vines spread between Dorlisheim and Mutzig, specifically on the slopes of Stierkopf. Facing south and sheltered from prevailing winds, the vineyard enjoys optimal sunlight that promotes grape ripening. Harvesting is done by hand, and some wines are aged in wooden barrels to enhance their aromatic complexity.
The estate produces all seven Alsace grape varieties, as well as Crémants, late harvest wines, and eaux-de-vie. The wines from the exceptional terroir of Stierkopf stand out for their remarkable quality, reflecting the family expertise and the unique soil characteristics.
For individual visitors, free wine tastings are offered at the cellar. The Becht family, available for conversation, also provides advice on pairing wines with food. Groups of up to 75 people are welcomed by reservation.
