Regional Contemporary Art Fund - FRAC Alsace

FRAC Alsace plays a key role in promoting and developing contemporary creation. It houses a rich collection of over 1100 works created between 1954 and today by more than 650 artists. FRAC regularly organizes exhibitions in its premises and throughout the Grand Est region, offering guided tours, workshops for children and all audiences, as well as various events linked to its cultural programming.

For two decades, the FRAC Alsace garden has also hosted long-term artistic projects. In 2021, Swiss artists Gerda Steiner and Jörg Lenzlinger were invited to design Schatz & Jardin, an installation that will extend until 2031.

Guided tours of FRAC Alsace are available by reservation, free of charge, limited to groups of 10 people maximum, and last 45 minutes.
