Reipertswiller
Reipertswiller, now an Alsatian commune, was in the 12th century a land held by the landgraves of Alsace, better known as the counts of Werd. In 1332, it changed hands and was sold to the lords of Lichtenberg. These two periods of its history are still visible today through the commune's coat of arms, which bears the arms of the two successive owning families.
